D4d dozer9/7/2023 ![]() ![]() Just my free opinion and worth every cent you paid for it! LOL That D-4 you have in the pic is old and doesn't have replaceable sprocket segments.įorget using a tractor for any serious brush clearing, they ain't made for it. RORO freight ain't that bad, don't have a clue what it would take on your end to get it in country. What is your price range? I'm close to port (Houston ) and can find good used D6H or R dozers for $100-125K, D-8K's for $80-100K. I would go with the Cat D4, they are made for that kind of job, and it is ready to go. Probably depends what you want to do with it. I want to do some land clearing work with the dozer / tractor with blade Edited by TRANSBOER 14:29 First tractor is a Case 4694, the a South African built ACO tractor of 250 kw and a Challenger 35 that is a little more money. This d4d looks like a nice dozer and the price is right. I know a bigger dozer would be better, but they are not in my price range and if they are in my price range, they need a lot of work done. Would a 4wd tractor with a front mounted dozer blade be better than a Cat D4d dozer.? Here is some tractors in the same price range as the d4d.
